Arkema will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of its Forane® brand at this year’s AHR Expo in Orlando in February. Arkema Inc. has been manufacturing in the U.S. for over 70 years, bringing high quality products to the HVACR market.

Arkema, a key producer in the worldwide refrigerants market, offers a broad range of products for existing and next-generation air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. At the AHR Expo, Arkema will showcase its solutions for addressing the challenge of the global transition to low-GWP (Global Warming Potential) refrigerants.
At the Expo, Arkema will feature its Forane® 32 low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant solution, the only U.S.-based producer of R-32, producing it at its Calvert City, Kentucky plant. For HVAC-R, Arkema will discuss its R-516A refrigerant during the technical program, a near drop-in and long-term solution for R-134a, with a GWP of <150. It is a close match to R-134a in capacity and efficiency, with zero glide. It adds to Arkema’s product portfolio that grows and evolves with the market, technologies, and regulations, providing refrigerant options for the future.
