Arkema will participate in the PLASTIC Japan 2014 show in Tokyo from April 16th to April 18th 2014. PLASTIC Japan is a comprehensive show that draws together a wide range of plastic-related technologies, from highly-functional plastics and CFRP forming/processing to material technologies.

Japan is a key country for Arkema and its performance products. Arkema has an R&D center in Kyoto dedicated to high performance polymers and an application laboratory in Yokohama dedicated to coatings.

PLASTIC Japan is a showcase for advanced key technologies for weight reduction, metal alternatives, and environmentally-friendly materials. With a total of 520 exhibitors from all over the world, this fair is key to Arkema’s success in Asia-Pacific.

Demand for highly functional plastic technologies has been increasing rapidly in Asia-Pacific, which plays a part in technical innovation in a number of fields. Arkema offers the plastics industry an extensive range of high performance materials for oil & gas, automotive, aerospace, packaging, and consumer goods applications.

PLASTIC Japan is an opportunity for Arkema to showcase its latest innovations in its specialty polyamides and fluoropolymers (PVDF) ranges, as well as its innovative materials such as nanostructured polymers newly developed by its R&D, thus covering all High Performance Materials business units.
